MCS was appointed under a design and build contract to deliver the full mechanical and electrical services installation for the refurbishment of key front-of-house areas within a Warner Leisure Hotel.
Delivered over a 32-week programme, the areas delivered were the Late Lounge & Bar, Reception and
Main Entrance, Theatre, Pub & Kitchen, Market Kitchen and Orangery. MCS was responsible for the complete M&E installation serving these refurbished areas, ensuring all systems were coordinated with the new layouts and operational requirements.
The project included the replacement of several major items of plant and infrastructure, comprising a new chiller, two air handling units, two fire-rated kitchen extract fans and a new LV panel. These works formed a significant part of the building services upgrade and provided the infrastructure required to support the refurbished spaces.
By combining front-of-house refurbishment works with the renewal of key mechanical and electrical
plant, the project delivered both upgraded customer environments and modernised building services
infrastructure as part of a single integrated programme.
